Iveta Vecenāne

Iveta Vecenane has been taking part in exhibitions since 1986 and her textile art includes tapestries, painting on silk, and costume jewellery. A recent innovation is seen in her tapestries with amber thread produced by a Latvian high-technology company. Vecenāne has been working with book illustrations and as an author of children's books. The artist has had solo exhibitions in many different countries. She has taken part in ARTAPESTRY3 (2012-2014) textile exhibitions. Her works are found in the collections of the Latvian National Museum of Art and the museum of Eskilstuna in Sweden.
