The Flowers in God’s Garden

Although she resides in Ziemeļblāzma, Riga, Iveta Vecenāne weaves memories of nature in Latgale and the impressions of blooming summers elsewhere in Latvia into her tapestries. At Gallery Bastejs, one’s eyes are drawn to her tapestries created during the period from 2016 to 2021. Materializing within them are states of the soul and dreams of beauty.
